My most local hospitals are as follows and incur no extra charges for collection:

• QA (Cosham)

• The Princess Anne (Southampton)

• St. Richards (Chichester)

• The Royal Hampshire County Hospital (Winchester)

• Home births in these areas within 25 miles of PO16

Travel Charges Apply:

I regularly collect from the following hospitals. As these involve a 2 hour round trip, there is a travel charge of £44 (payable after collection along with your final balance)

• The Royal Bournemouth

• Salisbury Hospital

• The IOW (collection from West Cowes Red Funnel RedJet terminal

• The Royal Surrey

• Homebirths in these areas an hour from PO16 7NB

We stay fairly local so that I can provide a personal service. Couriers are expensive and greatly add on to the price which is something to consider if you are looking at national placenta companies. I prefer to collect in person so that I can check your placenta release form with your birth partner and answer any questions that there might be :)
