The laws regarding the protection of your data have changed. How we use your personal information reflects the importance of your relationship with us.
The information we hold
The information we hold comes from the information you have sent to us on contact forms, emails, messages and given over the phone. All information requested from you is required logistically in order to confirm that a booking is possible and to make arrangements for the delivery of the storage kit and for collection of the placenta. In addition to this, we may ask you how you found out about placenta encapsulation/Placenta Mamas to give us an insight into how our customers are finding us.
We may contact you by phone, email or SMS to discuss your booking, to send you relevant information relating to your booking and to ask for consent to use/share any feedback you give us.
When you pay for services, this is done via Stripe, bank transfer or Paypal. The relevant payment provider will need to know your details to verify your payment. This information is not collected or retained by us.
It is important that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. Please let us know if at any time your personal information changes by emailing us at email@example.com.
Who we share your data with
We will never sell or share your data with anyone else without your consent and your decision to do so, unless required by applicable law or pursuant to a court or similar order.
You may at any time ask for a copy of the information we hold about you- it is your legal right. We will provide you with a copy of any information within one month.
If you are not happy with any aspect of how we collect and use your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We should be grateful if you would contact us first if you do have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it for you.

For tax purposes, the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including contact, identity, financial and transactional data) for six years after they stop being customers.
